Job Satisfaction of LIC Employees

Abstract

It is widely believed that the customer satisfaction is a priority but it can be achieved or fulfilled if an employee is satisfied with his/her job conditions. Job satisfaction is regarded to one's feelings or state-of-mind regarding the nature of their work. The main intention of this research paper is to find out the satisfaction level of LIC employees and the relationship that exist between the superior and subordinates. For the matter, 30 LIC Class-I employees in Jodhpur city are interviewed through structured questionnaire. The study is exploratory as well as descriptive in nature. Research indicates that almost all LIC employees interviewed are likely to stay within the organization. Job satisfaction reflects an employee's overall assessment of their job, particularly their emotions, behaviour and attitudes about their work experience.
