Identifying the factors that make work gratifying in Public Sector Banks (A case study of Bank of Baroda) Tandon J.K., Tyagi Parul School of Business and Management, Jaipur National University, Jaipur Online published on 14 February, 2012. Abstract Job Satisfaction has increasingly become important to organizations today. The construct ‘Job Satisfaction’ is however complex and satisfaction cannot be seen as a single, homogeneous entity, which is the same for all employees. It is multi faceted work attitude and can impact organizations in a variety of ways. It changes overtime as employees circumstances and needs change. The dynamic nature of this concept requires that a constant vigil be maintained on its level in organizations. This research study deals with the present level of Job Satisfaction as well as with the role of various job and personal factors in influencing the Job Satisfaction of employees of the Bank of Baroda. In this study Job Satisfaction is conceptualized as a sum total of the employee's feelings towards thirteen different aspects of the job. This study was conducted in the branches of the Bank of Baroda located in four cities of Rajasthan on a sample size of 200 employees.
