Online published on 26 July, 2017. Abstract Otitis externa was diagnosed and treated in five dogs presented with history of ear discharges and head shaking. Clinical examination revealed pain on palpation and purulent blood stained otic discharges. Upon otoscopic examination, ulecerative lesions were found in horizontal ear canal with intact tympanic membrane. Cytological examination of discharges revealed large number of cocobacilli and degenerated neutrophils. Radiographic findings did not reveal any abnormality in middle and inner structures of ear.
