Online published on 26 July, 2017. Abstract Seven Persian cats were presented with history of scratching around ear, hair loss and excessive coffee colour waxy exudate. Ear swabs examined under microscope revealed numbers of ear mites and their eggs. The cats were treated with Fipronil spray weekly remarkable once in ear canal up to four weeks. No mites were detected at 4th week of therapy. Aural application of Fipronil spray has efficacy against ear mites. Top Keywords Fipronil, Otodectes cynotis, persian cat. Top | |
