Online published on 26 July, 2017. Abstract A Large white Yorkshire sow was presented with history of twisting of neck towards left side and difficulty in taking food and water. The case was diagnosed as torticollis due to nerve injury because of infighting between pigs housed together in sty. The treatment was initiated with nervine vitamins, anti-inflammatories along with antibiotics and physiotherapy i.e., massaging, swimming and infrared therapy. The case was completely recovered by 18th day. Medical treatment along with physiotherapy helped the animal to recover. Top Keywords Nerve injury, physiotherapy, torticollis. Top | |
