Incidence of Ocular Manifestations in Diabetic dogs

Abstract

Ocular manifestation in diabetic dogs is a common systemic condition. Most diabetic dogs may develop cataracts or blindness if untreated. In the present study, 934 dogs were screened for diabetes and 34 were found positive for diabetes mellitus of which 16 dogs had ocular anomalies (16/34).
