Clinical examination revealed high body temperature, anemia, gait in-coordination and salivation. Low hemoglobin content (6.9 gm%) was recorded and Trypanosoma evansi organisms were identified on blood smear examination. Treatment was given with single shot of Isometamidium chloride hydrochloride @ 0.5 mg/kg intramuscularly.
