Abstract

The buffalo population in India is 96.9 million which is 56.78 per cent of total buffalo population in the world. The proper management practices have positive effect on productive performance and achivement. The study was carried out in 6 villages at Bithrichainpur Block of Bareilly district of UP using PRA techniques. Results of the study clearly depict that buffalo production practices of farmers in small scale livestock production system are not satisfactory due to which the production of their animals is very low.
