Abstract This paper examines the access and awareness level of e-learning situation of post graduate students of the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India covering three institutes. The study finds it by way of asking students about their possession of various e-learning tools, access to internet, time for which they have been using internet, time spent daily on internet, their enrollment in any e-learning program, awareness regarding various e-learning initiatives etc. According to the nature of the study, ex-post facto research design was used. A total of 120 respondents from these three institutes were taken and subjected to the study. The data was collected and analysedusing statistical tools like frequency and percentage. It was found that 96.67 per cent of the respondents were aware of e-learning and all of them had internet access. Maximum of the respondents i.e., 89.16 per cent accessed internet from their college/institute. Top Keywords Access, Awareness, Internet, E-learning initiatives. Top |
