Safety evaluation of new molecules for natural enemies (Coccinellids and Spiders) of okra pests

Abstract

Significantly higher coccinellids and spiders population was recorded in emamectin benzoate 5 SG (0.25 g l−1) and spinosad 45 SC (0.2 ml l−1) followed by rynaxypyr 20 SC (0.3 ml l−1), flubendiamide 480 SC (0.1 ml l−1), indoxacarb 14.5 SC (0.5 ml l−1) and novaluron 10 EC (1.0 ml l−1). The lowest population was observed in profenophos 50 EC (2.0 ml l−1), lambda cyhalothrin 2.5 EC (2.0 ml l−1) and quinalphos 25 EC (2.0 ml l−1) treatments.
