S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur during the rabi 200304 and 2004–05. In both the years the higher doses of Btk (1.25kg ha−1) and HaNPV (350LE ha−1) were proved more effective in reducing the larval population upto (90.00 & 86.67%) after 7th day of treatment. Both these treatments were at par with Btk (1.0 kg ha−1), Beauveria basiana (2.50 kg ha−1 & 3.50 kg ha−1), HaNPV (250 LE ha−1), quinalphos (0.06%) and endosulfan (0.07 & 0.10%) after 14 days of treatments. At harvest the highest yield was recorded in plot treated with endosulfan (0.10%) followed by the higher dosage of bio-pesticides, Btk (1.25 kg ha−1) and HaNPV (350 LE).
