This approach encompasses various computer operations, software applications, internet communication, agricultural portals, and smartphone functionalities, each catering to the diverse information needs of extension personnel. To delve into this evolving trend, our study was conducted in central Gujarat, involving 155 ATMA personnel and 44 KVK personnel selected from all nine districts of the region. In total, 199 personnel from ATMA and KVK in central Gujarat were surveyed. The predominant use of computer operations among ATMA personnel was for printing documents (74.19%), while computer software was mainly employed for creating PowerPoint presentations (63.87%). Respondents exhibited frequent internet usage, with a primary focus on broadcasting timely information (78.06%), and agricultural portals were extensively utilized for acquiring information on new agricultural practices (76.77%). The key applications of smartphones among respondents included video calling, utilized by 74.84% of the participants.
