Abstract Studies examining the potential effects of neutering on pet behavior aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject, encompassing various aspects of pet behavior and the impact of neutering. Extensive research conducted in this field underscores the significance of the topic among researchers. This study specifically explores the relationship between influential factors and the effects of neutering on both individual and social behaviors in dogs. To gather information, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed, drawing data from reliable national and international scientific databases. Utilizing Cochran’s statistical relationship, 192 questionnaires related to pets were completed and subsequently analyzed using SPSS-24 software. The statistical findings shed light on the following results: “The factors of neutering time, sexual cycle, and the dog’s living environment play a role in the occurrence of different behaviors. However, age, weight, and the presence of other pets do not affect these behaviors. The investigati on into the effects of neutering on dogs revealed significant differences in behavior before and after the procedure. This study offers valuable insights for the scientific community and dog guardians, demonstrating that neutering has a significant impact on reducing unwanted behaviors and facilitating practical management while promoting responsible pet ownership”.
