ABSTRACT

Pandemic times are always challenging for people, businesses and economy. With this well connected world by technology, lot of barriers can be overcome. E- Commerce platforms became an ultimate resort in these testing Pandemic times. They are helping us stay indoors as required by lockdown situations worldwide and still lead life where we can get essentials at our doorstep. Though e-commerce platforms are helping consumers as far as possible but they are also facing challenging times from managing their supply chain to further manage restriction to e-commerce platforms and to lacking advanced technology in Indian context. Looking at all these challenges, the paper tries to study various issues, trends in e- commerce in social distancing times as thrown by Pandemic. Further, the paper tries to find out challenges to e-commerce platforms in social distancing times and at the end, the paper tries to provide suggestions to e-commerce giants.
