HRM has the necessary connections with the rest of the organisation to manifest itself in the responsibility expected by its Siamese twin-CSR. The core objectives of the article are (1) to understand the concept of CSR (2), to explore the nexus between HR and CSR and (3) to elaborate on the strategic role of HR in embedding CSR in corporate DNA using exhaustive literature survey and secondary data collected from various sources including books, research papers, journals, newspapers, magazines and websites.
