Abstract

MPDS is a very common disorder which a practicing dental surgeon comes across very frequnetly. Often it poses a difficulty related to the diagnosis, as well as the treatment modalities. Proper understanding of the pathogenesis and the rationale behind the various therapeutic modalities is a prerequisite for making an informed decision regardless of the successful management of the condition.
