Kalyan, Senior Lecturer, Dr. Banda Naveen Reddy, Senior Lecturer Department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Modern Dental College and Research Cetnre, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Abstract Haemophiliac patients must be thought of as special patients. Regular comprehensive dental care, including semiannual examinations, proper oral hygiene and patient parent education should be emphasized to all the haemophiliac patients. The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence of bacterial dental plaque and gingivitis in haemophiliac patients in the age range of 7–35 years using the Modified Gingival Index (MGI) and the Plaque Index (P1I) and to compare these with control group.
