Bio Efficiency of Different Pleurotus Species on Lignocellulosic Agrowastes Deshmukh A. S.1, Patil A. S.2, Khadse J.K.2 1Matoshri Vimalabai Deshmukh Mahavidyalaya, Amravati (M.S) 2Department of Biotechnology, Sant Gadgebaba Amravati University, Amravati (M.S) -444602. Abstract Three different species of Oyster mushroom were grown on different agrowastes viz wheat, mung, tur and soybean. Total fifteen different combinations were made out of these agrowastes for the cultivation of P. florida, P. flabellatus and P., sapidus. The time required for spawn run was less in P. sapidus followed by P. florida and P. flabellatus on particular combination of substrate. The highest total yield in terms of B.E. of these Pleurotus species does hot differ significantly, but the higher yield (B.E.) was obtained on agrowaste combinations as compared to single substrates.
