Efficacy of Botanicals, Bioagents and Fungicides on Management of Leaf Blight (Altbrnaria Porri) of Onion. Bhosale M.V., Perne R.R., Shete M.H., Pawar N. B. Department of Plant Pathology, Agricultural Microbiology Mahatma Phule Agriculture University, Rahuri, Dist- Ahmednagar Abstract The botanicals, biocontrol agent and fungicide were tried under field condition against leaf blight of onion. The mancozeb (0.3%) was found most effective in controlling the disease, which recorded 51 per cent disease control, followed by Trichoderma viride (38.84%). The sprays of mancozeb and Trichoderma viride also gave significantly highest onion bulb yield of 10.57 t/ha and 10.31 t/ha, respectively than rest of the treatments. The botanicals viz., L. camera and P. pinnata were also found effective and gave 27.08 per cent and 22.44 per cent disease control, respectively.
