Response of chickpea (Cicer arie11num L.) to rock phosphate and phosphate solubilizers in typic chromustert Kulkarni Sudhir, Sarangmath P.A., Salakinkop S.R., Gaddi A.V. University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad - 580 005, India Online published on 29 October, 2012. Abstract The investigation was carried out to study the response of chickpea cv. A-I to rockphosphate ond phosphate solubilizers. The results reveal that application of single super phosphate (SSP) proved significantly superior to Mussoorie rock phosphate (MRP) with respect to dryrnatter, seed and straw yields and yield attributes like 100 seed weight and number of pods per plant. However the application of MRP with Biogas slurry (BGS) and phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB), MRP+Pyrite and MRP+Pyrite+PSB gave results not only at par with SSP but also significantly superior to MRP.
