Abstract The G20 summit under India’s presidency has significantly elevated India’s diplomatic influence and economic prospects on the global stage. India showcased its cultural diplomacy, economic growth, and digital outreach, enhancing its soft power and economic prospects. The summit’s emphasis on sustainable development, renewable energy, and climate change will open up new avenues for Indian businesses and industries. Moreover, India’s advocacy for the African Union’s inclusion in the G20 and the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor will allow it a greater economic engagement in these regions. Overall, the paper is an attempt to showcase how the G20 has benefitted India’s diplomacy, economic aspects and global prominence.
