Metaverse and the upcoming marketing revolution

Abstract

The research focuses on the forthcoming Metaverse revolution, the marketing revolution it will bring, and the change the industry will experience due to technological improvements. The Metaverse, a multiuser environment that perpetually and persistently combines actual reality with digital virtuality, is the post-reality cosmos. It is predicated on how technologies like virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality, which allow for multimodal interactions with digital objects, people, and settings, have converged (AR). As a result, the Metaverse is a networked, socially interactive environment that exists on permanent multiuser systems. It makes it possible to interact with digital objects in a dynamic way and communicate with them in real-time as embodied users. A web of virtual worlds that allowed avatars to travel between them made up its initial version. Metaverse is thought to transform the marketing environment and is seen as the next generation of social media as well as a cutting-edge game and design platform. This technology envisions a time when the distinction between augmented reality and real reality is blurred. This study concentrates on how the metaverse may transform activities in the future and transform people’s lives in terms of a variety of aspects, including work, commerce, marketing, gaming, etc. highlighting a primary study done to comprehend the results and general impression of its adaptability. The outcome of the study was the next generation of the Internet will be transformed by Metaverse. It will be a virtual reality environment that is as good as or better than the actual world. Digital marketing will advance with the help of Metaverse. With the expansion and development of this platform, marketing efforts will experience a significant improvement. The core of Metaverse will consist of AR, VR, NFTs, and cryptocurrency.
