Abstract

Management studies is one of the most demanding courses across the globe. Many successful CEO, Manager and other reputed designation in the management is occupied by the Management student only. It is one of the most demanding courses in the globe. Management studies is evolving day by day and creating talented leader every year. Innovation in the management study is very important as it is totally based upon the practical knowledge. We are all aware of the fact that our country is the world’s software back-office; we do little that adds value. We are 2nd only to China in producing management graduates but only 17% or less are employable straight out of college. Never have we been told that the Indian farmer faces a credit crunch every time the sowing season starts, what can us as managers do to improve his credit worthiness. We always read about the deplorable state of primary education in our country, but no manager has ever stepped out to find a solution for this problem. This job has been delegated to the policy makers and nongovernmental organizations. Solving issues relating to society in general has been outside the domain of managers. This is the ostrich behaviour – neglecting the basic fact that business is a subsystem of social system, how can business thrive without developing society. The matter of fact is the basic model of management education – overemphasised the former and if not despise but neglect the latter. Whereas experiences are there that second has also if not less equally contributed in development of civilization. Problems such as a high current account deficit need resolution and have a cascading effect on the entire population but we are doing little to address the root causes and are more concerned about designing strategies that could salvage the crisis impact on our own businesses.

“If we can’t than nobody can” told by Vice President of my organization during the time of internship.
