Abstract Girl's health is considered more important as it is going to influence the health of the newborn in their adulthood. As Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome becomes a major threat to the reproductive life of women, awareness should be created among the adolescent girls about PCOS. Quantitative research approach with preexperimental one group pre-test and post-test research design was used to find the effectiveness of STP on the level of Knowledge regarding PCOS among 46, I year B.Sc Nursing students at a selected college. The data was collected using the structured questionnaire before and after STP and results revealed that in pretest the mean K score was 11.28 + 2.66 which improved in post-test to 16.21 + 1.65 with significant difference (t = 11.49) at p< 0.001 level depicting that STP was effective in improving the knowledge of I year B.Sc (N) students regarding PCOS.
