Design a business plan for setting up a Maternity nursing home in Himachal Pradesh, India

Abstract

‘Maternity health’ refers to the health during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. For the less developed or developing countries like India, government, in most of the cases fails to provide full support and facilities to the public. For that reason maternity care has always been a worrying issue in INDIA. (Walter, 1997)

This dissertation is going to make an attempt to develop a business plan for setting up a maternity nursing home in Himachal Pradesh and for fulfilling this objective, the required knowledge to gather is about the analysis of the sector in India, the growth pattern of the city and the opportunities lies for the setting up of the system and the managerial issues related to establishment of the new setup as financial, human resources, marketing and operational aspects and these are all required to be taken care of. (Machman, 2018)

The report is being presented in a form where the chapters are being written on the issues and to carry out the research work further. The chapters will discuss about the introduction of the study, literature review, and research methodology to analyze the project. The data collection has been done and then the analysis of the data had been made to get the interpretations to get the results. (Herrman C S. 2016)

The expected outcomes of the project is to look for the literature review related to the issues and the problems related to the maternity health and the nursing place for this and the ways to come out the solutions for these issues. India with the highest number of maternal and infant mortality rate of the world will be a potential country for investing in the maternal health sector. Understanding the market including the population demography will be very important to invest here. (Marry Denis, 1999)
