Fall of rupee: causes, impact and role of RBI Kumar Rohit Assistant Professor, Rajiv Gandhi Mahavidyalaya, Uchana, Jind Online published on 7 April, 2014. Abstract The rupee has taken a deep plunge and the government and RBI are struggling to arrest the fall. There is panic in the market and diminished hope for any immediate revival, putting India's growth story on a pause. The paper aims to give a conceptual idea of fall or rupee and its impact on the Indian economy. An attempt has been made to know how rupee can be made strong in international market against dollar. With the help of this analysis, the researcher has been able to dig out which variable played noteworthy and vice-versa. Top |
