In India, the banking companies are playing an important role in the development of economy. The Banking organizations were contributing the funds voluntarily towards the development of the society in the form of charity or philanthropy. This paper makes an attempt to study the fund allocation towards CSR activities of select banks in India. The required data for the study is collected from the secondary sources. The ANOVA and t-test are used to test the hypothesis. Public sector banks are selected to review their fund allocation towards CSR activities. SBI and ICICI banks are allocating funds liberally towards CSR activities compared to Punjab National Bank and Axis Bank.
