Abstract Schools over the years have been thought to be the safest places for all. Apparently, this becomes now a raging issue since it was not exempted from the myriads of security threats. Thus, complacency should not be practiced. This study aimed to identify the most probable risk that may exist in the Lyceum of the Philippines University in Batangas, to determine the vulnerability of the assets based on the identified risk, to assess the level of the implementation of security management practices of LPU and to propose enhanced security program for LPU. The study used the descriptive method of research. The participants of the study were the 239) members of the Lyceum community including students, faculty members, and administrative personnel. Stratified proportional allocation was used to determine the sample per college and work units. Results revealed that among the natural hazards, earthquake was highly probable while in terms of man-made hazards, vandalism was highly probable. LPU's assets are moderately vulnerable to risks. There is a high level of implementation of security practices of LPU. However, few practices on physical security and personnel security practices relative to students were moderately implemented.
