Abstract

The petrochemical industry in India has been one of the fastest growing industries in India and contributing to the growth and development of manufacturing industry also. The lubricating oil and grease market being one of the most important sectors of Indian petrochem Industry is growing at around 4.5% annually with an estimated growth to the level of approximately 2 million tonnes in 2014–15. The Indian lubricants industry claims to be the fifth largest in the world with the presence of almost all major MNCs like Valvoline, Shell, Mobil, Gulf oil. The objective of this study was to analyze the Product Awareness & Brand Image of Valvoline Cummins at Siliguri region of North Bengal with respect to the quality of performance of product, Competitor's product, Cost analysis etc.
