Well, India is a country where such anecdotes are being taught in the form of stories, so that our basic principle of life can be learnt and they can get stronger. In the ancient time, management lessons were present in the form of epics. The wealth of knowledge is embedded in Indian mythology (Choudhury, 2017). We can say that Indian mythology is very vast and enriched with huge amount of knowledge. A company or an organization has its own life circle like any other living prospect. It goes through several stages like startup, growth, maturity, and decline. Each phase requires a different leadership approach (Cheng, 2011). Till date the characteristics and quality of leaders is the most intellectual subject in research work. These research works has given many variant prospectives of leadership qualities. The results and findings of the research work have not only being implemented but practiced in many organizations for effective outcomes. This paper focuses on the different incarnation of Vishnu as a role of manager or a leader. Dashavatar of Vishnu depicts different characteristics in different epics. Lord Vishnu came in different incarnation in different situations because each situation demanded a different approach. This paper is theoretical and based on secondary data like research papers, articles, books. All of these are being referred to study and to understand the leadership quality pursued in the modern management techniques to overcome any kind of situation of problems.
