Abstract Women entrepreneurs are women who see opportunities around them and gather resources along to form sensible use of such opportunities and facilitate in meeting the requirements in their environment through product and services. Women entrepreneurs could also be outlined as the woman or group of women who initiate, organize and co-operate in making a commercial enterprise. With the arrival of media, women are conscious of their own traits, rights and additionally the work situations. Earlier activities of the women were restricted solely to the domestic work however these days we find women in numerous fields. No doubt the speed is incredibly low, however women are moving into the entrepreneurial field and definitely they're making their impact. They're conjointly enjoying the impact of globalisation and creating an influence not solely on domestic but also on international sphere. Women do an exquisite job placing a balance between their house and career. Women entrepreneurs are key players in any developing country notably in terms of their contribution to economic development. Even with all of the advancements that women have created within the business world, there's still a long way to go before the success rate is leveled between male and women entrepreneurs.
