Examining the relationship between knowledge management and innovation level in organizations Case Study: Shiraz Maskan Bank Omidvar Abozar Department of Psychology, Islamic Azad University, Marvdasht Branch, Iran Online published on 11 June, 2014. Abstract Innovation is one of the specific outcomes that expected to be created through management and knowledge quality. But, still there is no empirical evidence to support such claim. In this context, the present study attempts to examine the above suggested relation. Thus that researcher has considered two general hypotheses for his research: First, there is a relationship between triple practices of the knowledge management together. Second, there is a relationship between knowledge and innovation management practices. The researcher has used a questionnaire to collect data. To assess the reliability of mentioned questionnaire, calculated Cronbach's alpha value obtained which is equal to 86.1%. Based on data from an initial sampling, sample size obtained 85. After analyzing data from completed questionnaires (return rate of 65.49%) using SPSS software, the researcher was able to claim with 95% confidence that firstly, there is a direct correlation between behaviors and triple practices of the knowledge management together and secondly, there is a direct correlation between these practices and innovation. In other words, the researcher was able to provide empirical evidence to support their hypothesis.
