Abstract The main objective of this research is analysis of trends and housing prices in Iran. The research of the objective is application of method is library and documents. Sample statistics dealing with urban housing statistic and prices in 20 major cities in Iran is related to the years 1981 to 2011. In this regard, a widely used method in the analysis of time series and autocorrelation plots and constant variance tests, reviews, and ARIMA model used. The explanatory variables used 5 variable cost of land, liquidity, number of households, construction costs and interest rates on bank deposits that results through the software Eviews7 shows Rising for each of the variables, land prices, liquidity, family size, significant positive impact on house prices, but the effect of changes in rates on bank is deposits, the reverse and significant. Over the past two decades, changes in housing prices has been the most volatile economy in recession and the boom in the housing sector, and effects on other sectors of the economy, The review and identification of factors affecting housing and the control and guidance they need to appear.
