Abstract

This research has studied the relation between talent management and the organizational citizenship behavior of Golestan municipalities’ staff. The participants include all the 5500 employees of Golestan municipalities. The sample number was determined by Krejcie and Moorgan Table. By purpose, this is an applied research, and by method a survey one of correlation type. We used two questionnaires for collecting information about the employees’ attitude toward talent management and organizational citizenship behavior, and used Chronbach's alpha coefficient to determine their reliability (.0929 for talent management questionnaire and.0947 for organizational citizenship behavior questionnaire), and used content validity to determine the questionnaires’ validity. For data analysis, we used indices such as abundance, percentage and tables in descriptive statistics level, and Spearman correlation coefficient in inferential statistics level. The research revealed that there is a significant relation between talent management and the organizational citizenship behavior.
