Guidelines to Contributors
The Annals of Plant Protection Sciences is a thrice yearly international journal publishing original research articles, short communications and reviews (with prior approval of the title reflecting substantial contributions of the author) on all aspects of plant protection sciences, such as Entomology, Plant Pathology, Nematology, Weed Science, Forestry, Agricultural Chemicals and so on.
All manuscripts should be typed in English in double space throughout, on A-4 size paper with 2.5 cm. Tables and figure legends should be given on separate pages. Either figures or tables, not both, should be given for the same set of data. Figures, illustrations or photographs should be of good quality and suitable for final reduction allowing space for legends. The scientific norms and ethics should be followed while preparing the manuscripts. As far as possible trade names of products should be avoided. Metric units of weights and measures should be used. Only photocopies of illustrations should be sent along with the manuscripts and the originals should be sent immediately after receipt of the acceptance of the paper after review by relevant specialists. References cited in the text should be listed alphabetically; for format please see the latest issue of the journal. The manuscripts (MSS), research articles and short communications should not normally exceed 12 and 4 typed pages, respectively. The authors should send the MSS, in duplicate, addressed to The Chief Editor, Annals of Plant Protection Sciences, Society of Plant Protection Sciences, ICAR-NCIPM L.B.S. Centre, Pusa Campus, New Delhi-110 012, with a clear understanding that the same is to be published exclusively in the Annals of Plant Protection Sciences. The Editorial Board reserves the right to suitably modify, accept or reject the MSS in view of the reviewer's advice. Authors have to declare that MSS are original bonafide scientific contributions of author(s).
The Society of Plant Protection Sciences strives to bear of the cost of publication. However, in view of financial stringencies, 10 partially meet the printing cost, a uniform charge of X 1500 (US $ 50) per article will be charged (Coloured photo of 1000/-).
