Management of Stem Rot in Groundnut Through Soil Amendments Johnson M., Subramanyam K., Balaguravaiah D., Sudheer M. John Agricultural Research Station, Anantapur, 515001, India Abstract Effect of soil amendments in the management of stem rot, Sclerotium rolfsii in groundnut was studied. Among different amendments, basal application of gypsum @ 500 kg/ha (additional to the normal practice of gypsum application at flowering) followed by neem cake @ 150 kg/ha reduced the stem rot incidence by 39 and 31% resulting in increased pod yield of 260 kg/ha and 200 kg/ha, respectively.
