Three temperature regimes i.e., 45, 50 and 55oC were taken with three different time periods i.e., 15, 20 and 25 minutes. Tomato seedlings were treated on each temperature regimes with each time period and control was also maintained for comparison. Observations on plant growth characters (shoot and root length, shoot and root weight) and nematode reproduction (number of galls per plant, number of egg masses per plant, number of eggs per egg mass, final nematode population/100cc soil) were recorded. The experimental results showed that 55oC with 25 minutes found best treatment followed by 50 and 55oC with 25 and 20 minutes, respectively for management of root-knot nematode and enhancing plant growth.
