A phytopathogenic fungal species recorded on medicinal plant Syzygium aromaticum Bhardwaj Smriti, Surywanshi Jaishri, Rai A. N. Department of Botany, Dr. H.S. Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar (M.P.), India, 470003 Online published on 22 May, 2020. Abstract During survey of fungal diversity, a novel species Coleophoma sagarensis was observed on living leaves of Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. & L.M. Perry. Literature survey revealed that, species of Coleophoma has been reported earlier on Syzygium aromaticum. The same species has been illustrated, described and compared with allied species.
