Antioxidant activity of Crossopriza lyoni and Stegodyphus sarasinorum web silk

Abstract

Enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidant potential of two web silk samples of spider species, Crossopriza lyoni (CL) and Stegodyphus sarasinorum (SS) were determined. Enzymatic antioxidant potential of both web silk samples was low, but the non-enzymatic antioxidant potential of SS web silk was double than the CLweb silk.
