Diversity of genus Lyngbya ag. from soils of north Maharashtra region (M.S. India) Chaudhari Archana, Nandan S.N. P. G. Department of Botany, S.S.V.P. Sanstha's L.K. Dr. P.R. Ghogrey Science College, Dhule Online published on 22 May, 2020. Abstract Genus Lyngbya Ag. is one of the member of blue green algae belonging to class Cyanophyceae. Thallus is filamentous. Many unbranched filaments usually forms stratum on moist soil surfaces or shows tufted growth. Diversity of Lyngbya Ag. was not explored from soil habitat of North Maharashtra. Present study deals with taxonomical enumeration of twenty seven taxa of Lyngbya Ag. growing naturally on moist soils during rainy season of year 2016–2018.
