Screening of aspergillus species for secondary metabolite production Patil Shraddha, Rane Gauri Department of Botany, M. J. College, Jalgaon Online published on 22 May, 2020. Abstract Aspergillus species were isolated from soil, cultured and identified. Screening of various Aspergillus species for production of mycotoxins and secondary metabolites was undertaken. The secondary metabolites namely Aflatoxins and Fumonisin were detected. Some Aspergillus species were found to be responsible for the production of alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, tannin, saponin and phenolic compounds. Top | |
