Abstract During study on fresh water algal flora from Anjani dam at Erandol tahsil of Jalgaon district, Maharashtra, 7 taxa of genus Crucigenia Morren were collected by the authors; these are Crucigenia apiculata, C. crucifera, C. irregularis, C. rectangularis, C. tetrapedia, C. triangularis and C. quadrata.
