Summary

The initial ovule sizes of ‘T-9’ (264 μ), ‘M-3’ (274 μ) and ‘Suphala’ (354 μ) were observed to be significantly different from each other. The ovules developed much faster under cross-pollination than under selfing. After 24, 48 and 72 hours of development, the size of the ovules by and large were significantly different from each other in each form of pollination.
