MMV, BHU, Varanasi 2Professor, Deptt. of Home Science, MMV, BHU, Varanasi Online published on 9 April, 2020. Abstract The average age of women GP was (43.15±8.04) years. The literacy rate among WGP was found to be 69.8%. The most important MMC for getting the knowledge regarding PRS were Television, Newspaper, Circular and P/E/D. The MMS like radio and magazine was found to be frequently used in less proportion by the respondents. Various type of MMS were frequently used by the younger age group of WGP in comparison to the middle and older age group. Likewise the WGP who belonged to general caste, were frequently using the stated various MMC with the exception of the radio. The village women gram pradhan who were graduates and above, were also frequently using T.V., Newspaper, Nagazine, Circular and P/E/D. Thus, we conclude that higher education and younger age group female gram pradhan mostly used T.V., Newspaper, circular and P/E/D for getting the informations about PRS.
