The overall occurrence of mite infestation was higher in winter season. Haematological study showed significant (P<0.05) neutrophilia and leucocytosis in dogs infested with sarcoptic mange, whereas low haemoglobin level and total erythrocytic count along with eosinophilia were evident in dogs infested with demodectic mange.
