Abstract Committing the financial reporting fraud is a common and serious problem in the business sector. Many corporate giants are involved with such kind of illegal activity. Investors become afraid to enter into the capital market due to this activity. There are different kinds of fraud schemes which happened for different reasons. But it is necessary to reduce and remove the frauds and present the reliable and transparent financial statement or reporting. Different preventive steps can be adopted in this respect.
