IPM of Pod borers in Long Duration Pigeonpea Rao M. Srinivasa, Reddy K. Dharma Department of Entomology, Acharya NG Ranga Agn Univ., Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, 500030, India Abstract Field trials were conducted to evaluate and compare the individual IPM components against lepidopteran borers and pod fly of long duration pigeonpea The IPM module I (sequential application of HaNPV 500 LE ha−1 endosulfan 0 075% and NSKE 5% with bird perches) and IPM module II (sequential application of HaNPV 250 LE ha−1 + NSKE 2.5%, endosulfan 0 07% and HaNPV 250 LE ha−1 + NSKE 2.5% with bird perches) were effective against lepidopteran pod borers recorded highest % reduction of larval population. The pod and giain damage was also less in both IPM modules (8.6–9.6%) followed by endosulfan and NPV treatments The activity of coccinellids and spiders was more in IPM modules.
