Abstract

Field trials were conducted to evaluate and compare the individual IPM components against lepidopteran borers and pod fly of long duration pigeonpea The IPM module I (sequential application of HaNPV 500 LE ha−1 endosulfan 0 075% and NSKE 5% with bird perches) and IPM module II (sequential application of HaNPV 250 LE ha−1 + NSKE 2.5%, endosulfan 0 07% and HaNPV 250 LE ha−1 + NSKE 2.5% with bird perches) were effective against lepidopteran pod borers recorded highest % reduction of larval population. The pod and giain damage was also less in both IPM modules (8.6–9.6%) followed by endosulfan and NPV treatments The activity of coccinellids and spiders was more in IPM modules. The highest grain yields (11 99 - 13 11 q ha−1) and CBR (9 03–10 14) were obtained from both the IPM modules
